Consulting Is a SCAM: Is It a Fake Job?

Is consulting a scam? False business?

This is Fujii. I would like to talk about what I think about the profession of consultant.

There was a time when I was a consultant myself, running my business primarily as a consultant, around June 2018.

At the time, we were proud of our strength in the web area, so we provided full support from attracting web customers to strategy andThere was a time when they were lavishing high fees on us.

I used to do this kind of thing for a living, but one day I received an email in my inbox. I opened it to see what it was...

Aren't you embarrassed to be making a living out of consulting?"

I received such an incendiary email. I remember I was so pissed off at the time that I shoved it in the trash in two seconds.

So this question is why this email pissed me off....

"Isn't the consulting business a false business?"

When I think about this fact objectively, I also thought about it secretly at the time. In other words, I was working as a consultant, but at the same time, secretly I was thinking

I think he felt that the consulting business was a false business, or something trivial.

I couldn't admit it. That's why I hid it in the back of my mind. A single sentence in a single e-mail brought it out.

That's why I was so angry.

I still have a consulting business as a part of my business.

Consultants are vain businessmen.

My thinking has changed a bit since then.

Nowadays, I myself believe that "consultant" is just a sophomoric business expert or a "false entrepreneur".

The essence of consulting is a false business. That's what I've come to believe now.

Information vendors and consultants are not so different.

For example, there are some fraudulent information products being sold that are just too fucking expensive. There are many victims who get cheated...

howeverI believe that consultants have the same characteristics. They are not much different from information merchants. Most of them are just pompous purveyors of sophomoric schemes.

I'm sure I'll be slammed by all the consultants for making such a statement, but once you calm your anger and read to the end.

I can't be responsible.

I said something that may lower the position of consultants, but let me give you a few examples.

Consultants are not responsible for the advice they give, right? If the advice doesn't produce results, they won't refund the client, right?

Consultants are not responsible for the content of their advice. Everything is the responsibility of the client.

In other words.Consultants are irresponsibleThat's what I'm talking about.

Are consultants worthless?

Consultant, what's the point?

So here's the main question...are consultants worthless?

I don't mean to make such a polemic, not even one nano. I'm going to talk about this later.Even if the consulting business is a false business, it is worth it.

I'm not talking about the value, but what I find strange is the situation where a fresh graduate with no knowledge or experience becomes a consultant and receives money.

Of course, most consulting companies assign new graduates to miscellaneous tasks, muddy research, and documentation work at first, but there are some bad companies that make you attach clients from the start and throw you into the deep end.

They don't know anything about management and have no social experience. In other words, I have my doubts about those consulting services who receive high fees based on empty theories without any knowledge.

Isn't the world made up of false businesses?

So, sorry for the back and forth, but I think consulting is a false business, but I also think it's okay.

I believe that tutors, lawyers, and politicians can all be false jobs.If you think about it logically, many of the professions in the world are false.

This thought occurred to me as I was walking around the city.

But even in those professions, there are people who need them.

So it's the same with consultants. It doesn't matter if you are a fake businessman or not, if you are sought after, that's fine.

I will be a consultant as long as I am needed.

As I said, I will continue to do the same false business of consulting business.

In the end, even if people think it's a fake business, as long as there are clients who are willing to pay for my knowledge, skills, and experience, and as long as I can meet their expectations to the best of my ability, I have no problem doing it.

That's all you need to know about this fact.

Being sought after is valuable. It is not worthless because it is a false business.I think so.

I'm going to enjoy my false business.

With those who pay and those who receive, those who provide and those who receive services.

As a consultant, I will continue to gain experience, accumulate knowledge, and above all, make proposals that will lead to results for my clients, so that I will not just be someone who spouts off empty theories from a desk.

above allI want to enjoy this vain business in the future.I think.

That was my idea. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well. Do you think of consultants as a false business? What kind of impression do you have of them?

You don't have to be disciplined, so please write your honest opinions in the comments. I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you very much for your time.
